In-Home Digital Audits

A thorough, one-on-one review of every device, account, and smart gadget in your home. We secure everything and teach you as we go — no jargon, no rushing.

What we check and secure:

Router firmware updates, default passwords changed, strong Wi-Fi passwords, WPA2/WPA3 encryption enabled, guest network setup, unknown devices removed, and remote management disabled.
Operating system updates, automatic updates enabled, screen lock configured, suspicious apps removed, app permissions reviewed, scam call blocking enabled, browser security settings, email configured to show full sender addresses, and payment details removed if appropriate.
OS updates, antivirus installed and current, firewall enabled, browser security extensions, password manager recommended, remote access software checked and removed if not needed, backup system in place, and admin accounts secured.
Smart speakers — voice purchasing disabled and privacy reviewed. Smart doorbells and cameras — firmware updated and default passwords changed. Smart plugs, lights, and TVs — tracking and advertising settings adjusted. All IoT devices moved to separate or guest network.
Email and banking two-factor authentication, social media privacy settings, unused accounts identified for deletion, data breach check via haveibeenpwned.com, and password reuse education.
Can the client identify suspicious messages? Do they know the "hang up and call back" rule? Do they know never to share PINs or give remote access? Do they have a trusted person to call when unsure? Our helpline number is saved in their phone.

We strip phones and tablets down to essential apps with large icons and simplified home screens. In-app purchases disabled, supervised accounts set up, and "Do Not Disturb" schedules configured to block scam calls during vulnerable hours.

We help families set up bank transaction alerts and spending limits, remove saved payment details from online accounts, configure scam-warning browser extensions, and register a trusted contact with the bank.
